Applications Developer (C#/.NET)

About the role

Langan is looking for an Applications Developer to join its collaborative team in Panama. The role focuses on gathering requirements, designing, coding, debugging, documenting, and maintaining software solutions that support the firm’s engineering workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement programming solutions that automate and streamline business processes.
• Develop, modify, and maintain desktop and web applications using C#.NET, and ASP.NET.
• Build software components that integrate with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ProjectWise.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new application needs, reuse existing code, or integrate third‑party solutions.
• Create reusable components, perform testing, and ensure robust documentation.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend their application to projects.
• Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and improve system efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency with C# and the .NET framework.
• Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio 2022.
• Hands‑on experience with Xamarin and/or MAUI, focusing on Android development.
• Knowledge of Android Studio, Android Debug Bridge (ADB), JSON and XML.
