AI Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

Procter & Gamble is looking for an enthusiastic AI Engineer to join its AI Platform team in Panama. You will help design, develop, and operationalize AI and analytics solutions that power business processes across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and fellow AI engineers on advanced analytics use cases and proof‑of‑concept experiments.
• Prepare data models, perform quality checks, and optimise analytical solutions at scale.
• Design and develop applications that ingest data from multiple sources using Python and SQL.
• Support multi‑cloud environments (Azure Databricks, Azure ML, AKS, ADF; GCP Composer, BigQuery, GKE, Kubeflow).
• Apply DevOps and Agile practices, using Jira, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines to increase code reusability.
• Operationalise machine‑learning models as integral components of IT solutions and business processes.
• Implement platform‑engineering best practices to abstract cloud infrastructure for data scientists.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and contribute to incident‑detection systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience with Python, SQL, data modelling, and the design, development, and deployment of data‑analytics products.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
