About the role

LOVILL is seeking a Senior Attorney specialized in labor, immigration and administrative law to support a growing portfolio of international clients operating in Panama. The role involves providing autonomous, high‑quality legal advice that aligns with business objectives and cross‑border operations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise corporate clients on labor compliance, employment contracts, and relations with Panamanian labor authorities.
• Manage immigration matters, including work permits, residency applications, and related regulatory processes.
• Handle administrative law issues, liaising with government agencies and ensuring adherence to local regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents in both Spanish and English.
• Stay updated on legal developments affecting labor, immigration, and administrative sectors.

Required profile

• Between 5 and 8 years of experience in labor, immigration and administrative law in Panama.
• At least 3 recent years in law firms serving international clients.
• Proven ability to work independently and provide practical, solution‑oriented advice.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Panamanian labor legislation.
• Expertise in immigration procedures and work‑permit processes.
• Familiarity with administrative regulatory frameworks.
