IT Assistant - Product, Adoption and Support

About the role

The IT Assistant will support the Product, Adoption and Support function within the World Food Programme Technology Division. This role focuses on helping end‑users adopt digital solutions, providing day‑to‑day technical assistance, and ensuring smooth operation of WFP’s product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Assist users in the adoption of new and existing digital products.
• Provide first‑line technical support and troubleshooting for product‑related issues.
• Collaborate with the Digital Solutions Branch to relay user feedback and contribute to solution enhancements.
• Maintain documentation of support procedures and product usage guidelines.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for product releases.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experience in information technology or a related field.
• Strong interest in humanitarian work and the mission of the World Food Programme.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on user‑centered support.
