Lead Full-Stack AI Engineer (Python/TypeScript)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Full‑Stack AI Engineer to drive the design and delivery of AI‑powered applications for our client‑focused digital agency. The role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, overseeing backend, frontend and AI integration across complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical direction and architecture of full‑stack AI solutions.
• Design and implement scalable backend services in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Build interactive frontend interfaces using React, Vue or Angular with TypeScript.
• Create and maintain data pipelines, agentic workflows and LLM integrations (RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Conduct rigorous code reviews, mentor junior and senior developers, and champion best‑practice adoption.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and QA to translate requirements into technical roadmaps.
• Stay current on emerging AI trends (SLMs, agentic AI, multimodal models) and advise stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Python backend development and modern TypeScript‑based frontend frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/LLM technologies, retrieval‑augmented generation, and related frameworks.
• Proven ability to design robust APIs (REST, GraphQL) and real‑time systems.
