Utility Steward / Dishwasher

About the role

As a Utility Steward/Dishwasher at Hilton, you will keep the kitchen and dining areas immaculate, ensuring guests experience the warmth and hospitality the brand promises. You will work closely with the culinary and service teams to provide clean serviceware and maintain a safe, organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, ensuring they are ready for service.
• Monitor and restock supplies and equipment, keeping storage areas organized for efficient operations.
• Perform routine kitchen cleaning tasks such as mopping floors, emptying trash, and maintaining overall cleanliness.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets, functions and other events.
• Train and mentor new stewards, sharing best practices to improve team performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.
