Trilingual Compliance Manager (Spanish, English, Portuguese)

About the role

Build, implement, and oversee the company’s compliance framework across internal operations, client relationships, and third‑party partnerships. This role is critical as the company scales and requires a hands‑on builder who can establish compliance from the ground up, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing LATAM‑specific regulatory risks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive compliance framework, including policies, procedures, controls, and a governance structure.
• Partner with HR to ensure labor‑law compliance, onboarding/offboarding controls, background checks, and ethics hotline mechanisms.
• Develop and manage KYC/CDD processes, risk assessments, UBO verification, sanctions and PEP screening, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Implement a Third‑Party Risk Management program, conduct due‑diligence, integrity checks, sanctions screening, and monitor ongoing partner compliance.
• Monitor and interpret LATAM regulatory requirements, covering anti‑corruption, data privacy, and AML frameworks.
• Execute compliance monitoring, periodic internal audits, track KPIs, and drive remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• At least 10 years of experience in compliance, legal, audit, or risk management.
• Strong experience with KYC/AML frameworks, anti‑corruption compliance, and third‑party risk management.
• Proven experience working in or with LATAM jurisdictions.
• Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
