Technical Accounts Analyst

About the role

Ocean Re is seeking a Technical Accounts Analyst to ensure accurate recording of bank transactions and efficient management of collections and payments related to technical accounts. You will work closely with underwriting, back‑office, and other teams to support the company’s reinsurance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze overdue reports and maintain up‑to‑date control of accounts receivable.
• Review and record bank statements for monthly closings.
• Manage collections for assumed reinsurance contracts and related account businesses.
• Process payments to retrocessionaires and other account businesses.
• Record income and expense receipts in the in‑house system.
• Prepare account statements and weekly/monthly collection management reports.
• Maintain and file receipts in SharePoint.
• Confirm balances requested by client auditors.

Required profile

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Intermediate English (spoken and written).
• Experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or finance, preferably within insurance or reinsurance.
• Strong organization and planning abilities to manage multiple accounts and reports.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality when handling financial information.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Proactive attitude to anticipate overdue issues and propose solutions.
• Team player able to collaborate across departments.
