Solutions Engineer

About the role

TrendAI™ is looking for a Solutions Engineer to showcase our AI‑driven security automation capabilities. You will work closely with sales and customers to deliver compelling demos, proof‑of‑concepts and technical guidance that help organisations detect and contain threats faster.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to customer challenges, collaborate with the sales team and demonstrate tailored solutions.
• Provide Proof‑of‑Concept services to pre‑sales clients and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Conduct technical health checks and regular touchpoints with existing customers.
• Operate in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Share best practices with fellow SEs to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Develop deep subject‑matter expertise in assigned products and solutions.
• Travel regionally for customer engagements, marketing events and user‑group activities.
• Channel feature requests to Product Management.
• Deliver partner presentations, webinars and other events.

Required profile

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience in security software and systems.
• 2‑5 years of sales engineering or pre‑sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity.
• Strong troubleshooting, multitasking and problem‑resolution abilities.
• Self‑starter who quickly learns new technologies via self‑paced platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage C‑level executives.
• Knowledge of anti‑malware, IDS/IPS, DLP, file‑integrity monitoring, email/web security, syslog and SIEM solutions.
• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and SOC operations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
