Social Media & Multimedia Production Intern

About the role

The Social Media & Multimedia Production Intern will join UNDP’s Healthy Planet Hub, supporting the communication of the organization’s environmental portfolio across nature, climate, energy and waste initiatives. Working remotely, the intern will assist in creating and curating digital content that highlights UNDP’s flagship offers such as the Nature Pledge, Climate Promise and Energy Moonshot.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, creating and publishing social‑media posts for UNDP’s environmental programmes.
• Support the production of multimedia assets including short videos, graphics and photo‑stories.
• Help maintain content calendars and monitor engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with the Hub team to ensure messaging aligns with UNDP’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree programme related to communications, media, environmental studies or a similar field.
• Strong interest in sustainable development and UNDP’s environmental agenda.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of social‑media platforms (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
• Familiarity with multimedia tools for creating visual content.
