Site Technology Engineer

About the role

Huawei is seeking a Site Technology Engineer to design and optimise structural solutions for telecom infrastructure. The role involves delivering high‑quality site designs, supporting implementation, and driving innovation across tower, pole, foundation and cable rack projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design site structural solutions for telecom infrastructure, including towers, poles, foundations and cable racks.
• Develop and optimise designs based on real‑world project scenarios, meeting production, installation and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support during project implementation, offering on‑site guidance, issue resolution and design clarification.
• Communicate with frontline teams and customers to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet specifications.
• Drive innovation in site structure design to improve cost efficiency, performance and competitiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Structural or steel engineering certification is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to undertake short‑term and long‑term business trips.
