About the role
The Shelter and Wash Assistant will support the implementation of NRC's Shelter and Infrastructure Programme in Panama, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and contributing to safe, dignified living conditions for displaced populations.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to NRC policies, tools, manuals and guidelines.
- Assist in implementing the Shelter and Infrastructure portfolio according to the action plan.
- Prepare and develop reports required by Shelter, Infrastructure and WASH management.
- Maintain proper filing of documents and records.
- Promote ideas to strengthen support functions.
- Implement procedures and activities within delegated responsibilities.
- Continuously develop knowledge of the work area to improve team support.
Required profile
- Previous experience through internship or university practice.
- Experience in support functions within humanitarian contexts.
- Experience working in complex and changing environments.
- Demonstrable experience related to the listed responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of English.
