Senior Software Developer – Full Stack

About the role

Langan is seeking a Senior Software Developer / Full Stack Developer to join its collaborative team in Panama. The role involves applying software programming expertise to deliver advanced business solutions and managing the full software development lifecycle for assigned projects, both locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with employees and management to identify new application solutions or modify existing programs.
• Design, build, support, and test reusable components for complex systems.
• Create logical, organized front‑end code that works seamlessly across platforms and browsers.
• Analyze, design, implement, and modify desktop software applications and websites to meet business requirements.
• Define project scope and recommend efficient, cost‑effective programming solutions.
• Integrate software with SQL databases, present solutions to client groups, and participate in code reviews.
• Guide junior developers as needed and provide troubleshooting expertise.
• Follow Waterfall‑based Software Development Lifecycle practices and manage multiple project timelines.
• Stay current with technological advances and communicate progress throughout all design stages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
