Senior Site Reliability Engineer (AI‑Driven Automation)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead the on‑call shift for our AI‑native community platform used by Fortune 100 brands. You will act as the first responder to incidents, while the AI agents you design and maintain pre‑triage, validate changes and even apply automated remediation within policy guardrails.

Key responsibilities

• Own the on‑call shift: receive pages, triage and resolve customer‑impacting incidents, escalating only when the blast radius exceeds your scope.
• Execute production changes safely, including deployments, cost‑optimization runbooks and configuration updates, with roll‑back plans ready.
• Design, build, operate and maintain AI‑driven agents that perform pre‑triage, change‑validation, RCA drafting, auto‑healing and permanent‑fix tracking.
• Write and continuously improve both AI and human runbooks that the agents execute.
• Generalize one‑off manual fixes into automated solutions so future incidents are handled without human intervention.

Required profile

• Deep, sustained obsession with solving hard, production‑grade problems.
• Ownership mindset – treat the shift as a product you own and improve.
• Ability to work autonomously, identify gaps and ship fixes without waiting for direction.
• Experience in high‑stakes environments where outages affect large brands.

Required skills

• Incident triage and resolution.
• Production deployment and rollback procedures.
• Automation of operational workflows.
• Design and maintenance of AI‑driven operational agents.
• Runbook authoring and continuous improvement.
