Senior QA Automation Engineer – JavaScript

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with deep JavaScript expertise to lead automated testing for a portfolio of web applications. The role focuses on browser automation, identity and authentication flows, and improving overall release quality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend Cypress automation suites across multiple products.
• Introduce Playwright test coverage for new features and uncovered areas.
• Design and execute test scenarios for authentication flows, token handling, session management, and identity edge cases.
• Perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing throughout sprint cycles.
• Run accessibility checks with axe‑core and report findings against WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Execute Lighthouse CI performance checks and flag regressions.
• Create, maintain, and organize test cases in TestRail.
• Document defects with clear steps, expected results, and environment details.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure acceptance criteria are testable.
• Align pod‑level QA practices with cross‑portfolio test strategy in partnership with the QA Manager.
• Leverage AI tools to generate test cases, test data, and assist in defect triage.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Cypress automation experience.
• 3+ years of Playwright testing experience.
• Senior‑level ownership of automation quality across products (3+ years).
• Experience executing test strategy for regression, integration, and exploratory testing (3+ years).
• Strong defect documentation skills with clear reproduction steps and environment context.
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper‑Intermediate) level.
