Senior Java Backend Engineer – Integrations

About the role

As a Senior Java Backend Engineer focusing on integrations, you will design and implement robust Java services that connect our platform with external systems. You will work remotely with a global team of top‑tier engineers, delivering high‑impact solutions for clients such as Google and leading Silicon Valley startups.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Java backend services for API and system integrations, including REST endpoints, webhooks, and event‑driven synchronization.
• Implement OAuth flows and multi‑tenant authentication/authorization logic to secure connectors across many tenants.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines, connectors, parsers, and schema‑normalization components.
• Integrate with platforms such as Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Slack, and iManage.
• Ensure connector reliability through contract testing, versioning, and regression coverage.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java and deep knowledge of API integration patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with OAuth, multi‑tenant permissioning, and event‑driven architectures.
• Background in building ETL pipelines and data‑normalization workflows.
• Advanced English communication skills.
