Senior Full‑Stack Engineer – Payroll Software

About the role

We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to design and deliver end‑to‑end features for a payroll, billing and HR platform. The role combines product development, system architecture and direct client interaction in a fast‑moving, startup‑like environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack features across the frontend, backend, database and overall system architecture.
• Own the delivery of features from design through production, making key technical and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and remote team members to gather requirements and translate them into robust solutions.
• Design and implement integrations with payroll, billing, HR and other third‑party enterprise systems.
• Address complex technical challenges while balancing scalability, performance and business priorities.
• Utilise AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing and automation.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack development experience, preferably 5+ years, with a focus on JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven ability to design APIs, authentication flows, webhooks and enterprise system connections.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, schema design and query optimisation.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous and comfortable working in a distributed team.
