Senior Engineering Specialist – Aviation

About the role

Join DHL Aero Expreso as a Senior Engineering Specialist, where you will ensure the safety, reliability and performance of a leading air‑cargo fleet. The role combines technical analysis, regulatory compliance and close collaboration with OEMs, authorities and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and guarantee compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and relevant aviation regulations.
• Develop, maintain and control engineering documentation such as EO, EAF, EC, FCD and other technical records.
• Lead technical analyses for aircraft and system modifications and support their implementation.
• Monitor aircraft systems, structures, engines and APUs to identify reliability improvements.
• Act as the technical liaison with OEMs, suppliers, DERs, DARs and aviation authorities.
• Provide engineering support to Maintenance, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and other stakeholders.
• Assist major maintenance events and reliability programmes through engineering expertise.
• Update maintenance procedures, work cards and technical manuals to ensure operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline, or an Aircraft Maintenance Technician License with engineering experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in an airline engineering environment.
• Background in structural, propulsion, systems or avionics engineering is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of FAA, AAC and RACP regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
