Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with strong JavaScript expertise to join our Agile product team. You will work on customer‑facing web applications and APIs, building and maintaining automated test suites that ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs.
• Enhance existing automation frameworks and utilities (e.g., WebDriverIO, Selenium).
• Create automated coverage for new features and regression scenarios.
• Execute functional and regression testing as part of each release cycle.
• Investigate test failures, collaborate with developers to identify root causes, and track defects.
• Contribute to test planning, test case design, and requirement reviews.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines and test‑management tools (qTest, TestRail).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and share automation best practices with the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on test‑automation experience for web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 or higher).

Required skills

• Automation frameworks: WebDriverIO, Selenium.
• API testing tools: Postman or equivalent.
• Version control: Git.
• CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Test‑management tools: qTest, TestRail.
• Cloud‑based execution platforms: LambdaTest.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization API testing.
• Familiarity with AWS SQS or similar cloud services.
• Bash scripting.
• Exposure to SAP‑based web applications, mobile automation, or AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot (nice to have).
