Semi Senior Full Stack Engineer (.Net/Angular) – Government Tech

About the role

We are seeking a semi‑senior full‑stack engineer to join a focused application security initiative for a cloud‑based public‑sector HR platform. You will work hands‑on across the .NET back‑end and Angular front‑end, addressing security vulnerabilities and supporting major library upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Remediate security issues such as XSS, path traversal, SQL injection, weak cryptography, and container hardening.
• Upgrade .NET authentication libraries, NuGet packages, npm dependencies, and resolve breaking changes.
• Write unit and functional tests for every fix to ensure vulnerabilities are closed and existing features remain stable.
• Own end‑to‑end version upgrades, diagnose build failures, and drive resolution.
• Document findings and solutions to reduce repeat work across the team.
• Collaborate with other product teams to coordinate code reviews, context sharing, and credential rotations.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience building and maintaining .NET and Angular applications.
• Strong understanding of web security best practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate technical decisions clearly.
