Sales Associate – Real Estate

About the role

Makaya, a real‑estate brokerage and marketing agency operating in Panama, is seeking a high‑performing Inside Sales Associate to join its sales team in Panama City. The role is sales‑driven and focuses on converting qualified leads into real‑estate transactions, guiding clients from the first inquiry through closing.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to, qualify, and manage inbound and self‑generated leads.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, investment objectives, budget, and timeline.
• Present Makaya’s portfolio of residential and investment properties.
• Guide clients through the entire sales process, from inquiry to closing.
• Conduct property tours and client presentations when required.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of project inventory, pricing, market conditions, and investment value propositions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and referral sources.
• Follow up consistently via phone, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
• Record accurate lead activity, notes, and pipeline stages in the CRM.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, and other sales team members to maximize conversion.
• Support preparation and coordination of transaction documentation.
• Ensure client communications and transaction processes meet professional and legal standards.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales, activity, and conversion targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling real estate (required).
• Fluent English (required).
• Strong sales track record, preferably in real estate.
• Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and follow‑up discipline.
• Ability to build trust with local and international clients.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system to track leads and pipeline.
