Regional Sales Manager – Caribbean Markets

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager – Caribbean Markets will drive American Foods International’s commercial expansion across Caribbean island markets. Reporting to the Caribbean Director, you will lead sales initiatives, build local partnerships, and execute multi‑channel go‑to‑market strategies while travelling to close key deals.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales budget and profit targets for the region.
• Manage portfolio listings by store type and lead commercial development across assigned markets and customers.
• Design and implement sales strategies for retail, deli, food‑service and sub‑distributor channels.
• Identify, onboard and manage relationships with new distributors, wholesalers and import partners.
• Develop private‑label solutions for retailers and coordinate listings and in‑store visibility with buyers and category managers.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on trade promotions and brand activation plans.
• Work closely with the Miami headquarters on pricing, logistics and product availability.
• Track market intelligence (pricing, competitor SKUs, shelf space, velocity, margin) and manage volume forecasts and sales pipelines with supply‑chain and finance.
• Build trusted relationships with sub‑distributors, brokers and key accounts, and train local teams or third‑party representatives.
• Own Deli Program KPI deliverables for applicable customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Caribbean retail, distribution and food‑industry dynamics is a plus.
• Proven ability to close large retail programs, manage distribution contracts and execute promotional activities.
