Project Manager – Maritime Operations

About the role

Siland Energy, a Panamanian company operating in the energy and maritime logistics sector, is seeking a Project Manager to act as the central point of contact for the operational, commercial, financial and legal management of its maritime assets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships and performance of Ship Management and insurance companies.
• Coordinate vessel maintenance, repairs and dry‑dock planning.
• Request, evaluate and negotiate supplier quotations.
• Maintain relationships with current and potential charterers.
• Support Charter Party negotiations together with the Commercial team.
• Prepare, monitor and report vessel budgets (OPEX, CAPEX, dry‑dock costs).
• Ensure legal and regulatory documentation remains up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate with legal advisors and classification societies.
• Set up operational and administrative foundations for future fleet expansion.

Required profile

• 3–5 years proven experience in ship management, chartering or maritime operations, preferably in project‑management roles.
• Experience in budget management, cost control and basic financial analysis.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to work onsite in Panama and travel occasionally.
