Project Manager

About the role

JVLAT is looking for a proactive Project Manager to lead assigned projects from initiation through closure. You will apply the organization’s defined methodologies, tools, and standards to ensure successful delivery across our distribution network in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and schedule together with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain core project plans, including schedule, risk register, communication plan, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and internal resources, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and commitments.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and propose timely corrective actions.
• Identify, log, and follow up on project risks and incidents.
• Manage low‑ to medium‑complexity scope changes, documenting impacts and securing approvals.
• Prepare regular status reports and ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards.
• Support formal project closure, including final documentation, lessons learned, and handover to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Systems, Finance or a related field.
• PMP certification (highly desirable) and Agile‑Scrum certification (desirable).
• At least 3 years of experience managing medium to high‑complexity projects.
• Experience in process improvement, technology, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK, Agile or hybrid approaches.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet or similar.
• Advanced command of English (essential).
