Project Management Officer

About the role

The Project Management Officer (PMO) at Mallol strengthens the operational structure that enables projects of varying scale and complexity to progress with clarity, control, and consistency. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the PMO ensures projects stay within scope, schedule, and budget while supporting the firm’s planning, monitoring, and governance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve project management processes, standards, and tools aligned with Mallol’s way of working.
• Monitor portfolio progress, resources, timelines, and performance, providing clear data for decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Finance to track budgets, profitability, and operational control.
• Act as Key User of platforms such as Scoro, ensuring correct usage, data quality, and technical training.
• Work with People & Culture and technical study teams to enhance PM methodologies and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of project management experience in architecture, engineering, or design consultancy firms.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and implement PM methodologies.
• Strong systemic thinking to improve complex processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Effective influence without formal authority and structured communication in both Spanish and English.

Required skills

• PMP certification (required or in progress).
• Knowledge of AIA workflow stages (DC, DE, DD, CD, CA, AP) and BIM methodology.
• Advanced use of PM tools such as Monday.com or Microsoft Project.
• Experience with financial project platforms like Scoro or comparable ERP systems.
