Procurement Manager – Rail

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Procurement Manager specialized in rail projects to join its team in Panama. You will lead the end‑to‑end procurement process, shaping strategy, contracts and supplier engagement for large‑scale infrastructure initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies, including contract and commercial models.
• Lead competitive procurement cycles: market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender documentation, management, evaluation and negotiation.
• Provide expert advice to clients on optimal delivery and route‑to‑market options.
• Maintain high professional standards in all client and stakeholder interactions.
• Drive performance standards and technical excellence through effective communication and use of AECOM’s technical practice networks.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Required profile

• Demonstrated competence in procurement management for infrastructure or rail projects.
• Strong ability to advise clients on strategy, contracts and commercial arrangements.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
