Procurement Manager LATAM

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead our LATAM Procurement Team from our headquarters in Panama City. The role oversees a group of buyers responsible for sourcing cost‑effective services such as accommodation, transport and meals while ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of buyers and ensure consistent delivery of memorable customer experiences.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms for assigned categories, geographies and suppliers.
• Manage cost and quality targets, securing favorable pricing while maintaining high standards.
• Oversee inventory levels to meet forecasted demand.
• Contribute to mid‑to‑long‑term procurement strategy, supplier segmentation and category management.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships using a SRM approach.
• Identify and mitigate risk and safety concerns in the supply base.
• Monitor budget, cash‑flow and forecast costs in line with company cycles.
• Support technology development and continuous improvement of procurement tools.
• Stay abreast of market trends, innovations and emerging suppliers across LATAM.
• Travel up to 40 % of the time to meet suppliers and secure agreements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement or buying teams, preferably in a multi‑regional environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasts and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently across LATAM.
