Payment Partnerships Manager – LATAM Focus

About the role

As the Payment Partnerships Manager you will design and operate our financial network across Argentina and the broader LATAM region. You will be responsible for sourcing, onboarding and optimizing payment service providers, ensuring resilient, cost‑effective fund flows that support our high‑risk product offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, vet and onboard top‑tier PSPs, acquirers and local payment methods to achieve full coverage of cards, bank transfers and digital wallets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for financial partners, building long‑term alliances.
• Negotiate processing fees, settlement cycles and reserve requirements to improve margins.
• Monitor authorization rates and success metrics, troubleshooting issues to minimise friction.
• Secure backup providers and diversify the provider mix so no single partner exceeds 40% of traffic.
• Collaborate with Legal/Compliance to meet licensing and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in payments, fintech or merchant acquiring.
• Deep practical knowledge of the Argentine payment ecosystem, including card processing, CBU/CVU transfers and domestic rails.
• Proven track record negotiating complex commercial contracts with banks and PSPs.
• Experience in high‑risk sectors such as iGaming, crypto or forex is a strong plus.
• Ability to analyse payment data to spot trends, leakage and optimisation opportunities.
• Professional proficiency in English and native‑level fluency in Spanish.
• Existing network of contacts within the LATAM fintech space is highly desirable.
