Node.js Developer – Remote

About the role

BairesDev® is looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join its global, fully‑remote team. You will design and implement server‑side applications, build scalable backend services, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software that meets business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Node.js applications with strong problem‑solving and coding abilities.
• Build RESTful APIs and micro‑service architectures for web and mobile platforms.
• Create efficient database schemas and queries for optimal data access and storage.
• Integrate third‑party services and external APIs to enhance application functionality.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing server‑side code for performance gains.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to raise overall code quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing with Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with API development and integration.
• Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience using version‑control systems, preferably Git.
• Advanced level of English.
