About the role

The Occupational Physician will provide comprehensive health services for the site, covering both occupational and general medical needs. The role involves direct patient care, emergency response, and oversight of medical programs to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of occupational and general health conditions.
• Lead emergency care and manage complex medical cases.
• Supervise medical surveillance programs and fitness‑for‑work assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Panamanian health regulations and corporate standards.
• Oversee clinical staff and drive continuous improvement of site medical services.

Required profile

• Qualified to evaluate, diagnose and treat occupational and general health issues.
• Capable of leading emergency response and handling complex medical situations.
• Experience supervising medical surveillance and fitness‑for‑work programs.
• Familiarity with Panamanian health regulations and corporate health standards.
• Proven ability to manage clinical personnel and improve medical service delivery.
