Medical Affairs Operations Intern (Pasante)

About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on experience in Medical Affairs Operations within a leading biopharmaceutical organization. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, support the execution of medical events, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, logistics, and execution of medical programs and events.
• Register and track events using Veeva Events, manage approvals and required documentation.
• Support contract and payment processes, coordinate with external agencies and internal departments.
• Provide continuous updates to Medical Managers on event status.
• Collaborate with Medical Managers, MSLs, and administrative staff on meetings and internal communications.
• Participate in process‑improvement and standardisation projects, monitor KPIs and corporate training compliance.
• Gain exposure to procurement, finance, and business support functions across Latin America.

Required profile

• Current student, organized and detail‑oriented.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communicator and collaborator.
• Interest in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector.

Required skills

• Experience with Veeva CRM.
• Experience with Veeva Events.
• Experience with Veeva QualityDocs.
• Familiarity with MyLearning platform.
