Maintenance Leader

About the role

The Maintenance Leader is responsible for overseeing the entire maintenance function, managing both human and technical resources to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This position acts as a People Process Leader, driving performance, compliance, and a culture of inclusion within the technical team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement annual preventive maintenance plans for processing equipment and company infrastructure.
• Control maintenance costs and approve budgets, quotations, and payment requests.
• Lead the four maintenance areas (mechanical, electrical, services, preventive) and coordinate project execution.
• Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all sites.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the technical team, managing schedules, overtime, vacations, and performance KPIs.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with labor commitments and safety standards.
• Handle supplier and contractor relationships related to maintenance services.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and control costs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on diversity and teamwork.
