About the role

The Branch Leader will drive the national strategy for Global Bank’s branch network, ensuring profitable growth of financial products and services, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and maintaining consistent commercial and operational execution across Panama.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the nationwide branch strategy aligned with the bank’s commercial, financial, and service objectives.
• Identify regional and segment opportunities to grow asset, liability, and service portfolios while meeting sales, profitability, productivity, and quality targets.
• Promote a culture of comprehensive financial advisory, ensuring each client interaction adds value and tailored solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop branch managers and their teams, fostering a service‑oriented, collaborative, results‑driven environment.
• Design and lead the preparation of managerial presentations for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Business, Finance or related discipline (preferred).
• Proven experience in banking, leading branch networks, commercial strategy, and team management.
• Strong knowledge of financial products, portfolio management, commercial indicators, customer experience, operations, and banking regulations.
