LCL Procurement & Capacity Manager

About the role

The LCL Procurement & Capacity Manager is responsible for coordinating with internal teams and key stakeholders to execute procurement and capacity strategies. This role drives the development of new business opportunities, commercial corridors, and client solutions within the less‑than‑container‑load (LCL) segment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement and capacity negotiation strategies, securing competitive cost structures through agreements with shipping lines, co‑loaders, and local providers.
• Define and implement capacity plans to ensure space availability, operational continuity, and support for strategic product and market growth.
• Manage end‑to‑end supplier relationships, including selection, onboarding, documentation compliance, performance evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
• Support pricing, tendering, and strategic opportunity analysis to maximize volume and gross margin.
• Monitor market trends, space availability, tariff volatility, and competitive dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Drive operational optimization initiatives, improving load consolidation, container utilization, cost structures, and process productivity.
• Promote standardization, digitalization, and process control to enhance information visibility, operational discipline, and audit compliance.

Required profile

• Technical, professional, bachelor’s or higher degree in Business, Engineering, Law, International Trade or related fields (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of operational, commercial or logistics solution management experience, with at least 3 years in LCL operations or business management.
• Previous experience in global freight forwarding.
• Advanced English proficiency for interaction with regional and global stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and results‑orientation abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, allocate resources, and coordinate actions efficiently.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards (desired).
• Advanced English language skills.
