Laravel Developer + React – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel and React developer to join its remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building robust back‑end services with Laravel and modern front‑end interfaces with React.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel applications (version 8+), including Eloquent models, authentication, and query builder logic.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and integrate them with React front‑ends using Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to implement responsive interfaces, optionally using Tailwind CSS.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (8 or newer).
• Strong understanding of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in front‑end development, especially React (Vue.js or Livewire is a plus).
• Ability to take ownership of tasks, meet estimates, and align with client goals.
• Detail‑oriented, positive mindset and a can‑do attitude.
