Land Release Manager

About the role

The Land Release Manager will lead technical efforts related to land acquisition and release for infrastructure projects in Panama. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines engineering expertise with strategic decision‑making to ensure project timelines and regulatory requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in land release activities, applying advanced engineering principles.
• Make independent decisions on complex technical problems and represent AECOM at industry conferences.
• Resolve significant issues, plan and coordinate work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Adapt and extend engineering theories and practices to address field‑specific challenges.
• Supervise and guide teams on critical objectives, new concepts, and policy matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and make autonomous decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in complex, evolving conditions.
