L2 Infrastructure Expert Engineer

About the role

Join Tigo as a Level‑2 Infrastructure Expert Engineer and help us keep connecting people, improving lives, and developing communities. You will work on challenging projects that span on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, applying your deep technical expertise to design, implement, and optimize enterprise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve complex infrastructure issues using advanced analysis, critical thinking, and structured problem‑solving.
• Guide and support cross‑functional teams in addressing technical challenges and sharing best practices.
• Act as a technical reference for infrastructure engineering standards, quality, and architectural approaches.
• Contribute knowledge through documentation, mentorship, and collaborative initiatives.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, systems administration, or related roles.
• Proven track record designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise solutions across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Broad expertise across operating systems, virtualization, networking, storage, databases, Kubernetes, security, and automation.
• Strong experience with virtualization and private‑cloud platforms such as VMware, Hyper‑V, or OpenStack.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, and cloud‑native technologies.
