Jefe de Bodega – Colón

About the role

The company, a long‑standing retail chain in Panama, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead operations at its distribution center serving the Colón region. The role focuses on ensuring smooth receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of merchandise while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise receipt, organization, picking, handling of waste and returns.
• Prevent and resolve operational issues, guaranteeing proper inventory control.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse area.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of at least 30 collaborators.
• Plan and coordinate product replenishment to stores, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Ensure safety of personnel, equipment, materials and company assets.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities in warehouse management.

Required profile

• Technical or university degree in Logistics, Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar warehouse or logistics positions.
• Experience leading teams of at least 30 people.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP systems (preferred).
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (preferred).
