IT Project Manager

About the role

The IT Project Manager will lead the planning, organization, and delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. This role combines traditional project management with Scrum Master responsibilities to drive agile delivery across the IT department.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements to define project scope and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and provide weekly status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and resolve system errors, supplying detailed descriptions and labeled screenshots.
• Apply agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) to manage backlogs, prioritize epics, stories, tasks, and bugs.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments that could affect delivery and encourage the team to log time daily.
• Prepare and share project metrics and reports with product owners and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of business needs and ability to translate them into actionable project tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and team coordination.
• Sense of urgency in addressing issues and meeting go‑live dates.
• Experience acting as a Scrum Master and driving agile adoption.
