Internal Sales Specialist – Student Retention & Collections

About the role

TripleTen, an award‑winning online tech bootcamp, is seeking an Internal Sales Specialist to ensure students stay enrolled and payments are collected on time. You will act as the primary point of contact for monthly‑paying learners who are approaching or have missed a payment, helping them resolve issues and continue their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect recurring payments and meet defined collection targets.
• Address payment‑related concerns, handle objections, and support students to maintain enrollment.
• Proactively reach out to at‑risk students to improve retention and prolongation rates.
• Meet SLA targets by managing follow‑ups, due dates, and payment issues before churn occurs.
• Maintain accurate interaction records in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine processes and enhance the student experience.
• Continuously develop product knowledge, negotiation, and retention strategies.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
• 2+ years of experience in sales, retention, collections, customer success, or consultative sales.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and objection‑handling abilities.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to manage sensitive conversations with empathy.
• Results‑driven mindset with a proven record of meeting performance targets.
