Internal Control Specialist

About the role

Huawei is looking for a highly analytical Internal Control Specialist to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of internal controls across administrative operations in Latin America. The role ensures regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and financial discipline while driving digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and enhance internal control frameworks for administrative and logistics processes, aligning with corporate policies and local regulations.
• Plan and execute internal control strategies, proactively identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
• Develop, maintain and update process manuals and logistics baselines, standardising operations across business modules.
• Lead the annual administrative expense budgeting process, monitor execution and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Drive digitalisation of administrative services by integrating processes into IT platforms to improve automation and data visibility.
• Oversee Representative Office compliance activities, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding issues.
• Organise monthly Representative Office meetings, present KPIs and publish operational reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Risk and Governance Control (RGC) methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with quality management tools such as Six Sigma, Lean and PDCA.
• Solid financial acumen, including budget oversight, expense tracking and financial analysis.
• Fluent written and spoken Mandarin to communicate with headquarters.
• Familiarity with administrative and logistics processes across multiple Latin American countries is a plus.
