About the role

The Cost and Budget Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and updating budgets for upcoming projects at Grupo Senda Panamá. The role ensures that estimated costs align with the company’s financial objectives while supporting engineering, finance and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring consistency with cost estimates and financial targets.
• Analyze cost items, prepare tracking reports and monitor budget performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, finance and operations to gather technical and economic data.
• Participate in the preparation of offers and tender documents.
• Coordinate with various departments and conduct site visits when required.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Architecture or related fields.
• Experience in cost control and budget tracking for civil, finishes and MEP works.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and produce clear reports.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and effective communication.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
