Infrastructure Engineer – Data & Cloud

About the role

Pluxee is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Data & Cloud) to design, build, operate and optimise Microsoft‑based data platforms across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role ensures data systems are available, performant, secure and scalable while supporting analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data storage, processing and management solutions.
• Build, maintain and optimise data processing pipelines, guaranteeing data quality and reliability.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft SQL Server environments, including T‑SQL development.
• Automate deployment, provisioning, patching and database administration processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and fine‑tune database performance for high‑volume workloads.
• Establish data standards, security measures and access controls to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity and business teams to deliver efficient data solutions.
• Develop and enhance internal developer platforms (IDP) for data users and engineering teams.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Database Administrator, IT Infrastructure Administrator or Cloud Engineer.
• At least 1 year hands‑on experience as a DBA.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T‑SQL.
• Relevant certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure DBA Associate or AWS equivalents) are highly valued.
• Knowledge of database automation frameworks and architecture processes.
• Experience working in hybrid cloud/on‑premise environments is desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and advanced English communication skills.
