Incident Response Analyst

About the role

TrendAI™ – the AI security unit of Trend Micro – is looking for an Incident Response Analyst to join its global team. You will work directly with customers to detect, contain, and remediate security incidents across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents for TrendAI customers.
• Lead containment, eradication, and forensic analysis efforts.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and produce clear, actionable reports.
• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting to uncover hidden adversary activity.
• Communicate timely updates to internal teams and customers.
• Collaborate with detection engineering and security operations to improve visibility.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of experience in incident response, forensic analysis, and security operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Availability for occasional on‑call support and after‑hours incident response.
• Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements.

Required skills

• Incident response and malware analysis.
• Forensic analysis of Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
• Network monitoring and threat hunting.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
