GitHub Contributor – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced software contributor to provide expert‑level code samples, debugging strategies, and development insights on GitHub. This remote contract position focuses on high‑impact contributions across multiple programming languages and complex codebases.

Key responsibilities

• Produce expert‑level code samples, debugging guides, and development insights in Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement new, scalable features while adhering to best‑practice software engineering standards.
• Refactor and optimize legacy code to improve clarity, efficiency, and reliability.
• Document technical reasoning, solution approaches, and code decisions to enrich AI training data.
• Review and validate peer‑contributed code and technical submissions for accuracy and clarity.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on expertise in at least one of the listed languages.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proven ability to debug complex systems and deliver effective optimizations.
• Experience modernizing large, legacy codebases.
• Track record of delivering high‑impact features from concept to delivery in cross‑functional projects.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Interest in AI challenges (no prior AI experience required).
