Gerente General – HVAC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a regional HVAC, air‑conditioning and refrigeration distribution business with international operations across Latin America and the Caribbean. The role is based in Panama City and requires on‑site leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire business unit, overseeing P&L, sales performance, profitability, portfolio management and inventory control.
• Define and execute country‑specific commercial strategies to capture market opportunities.
• Manage international distribution and trading activities for imported physical products.
• Strengthen processes, organizational structure and autonomy of the managerial team.
• Drive profitable growth and spearhead entry into new markets.

Required profile

• 8‑15 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a P&L‑responsible leadership role.
• Proven experience in distribution or international trading of imported goods to LATAM and/or the Caribbean.
• Solid knowledge of foreign trade, credit management, inventory handling, margin analysis and commercial management.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Background in HVAC, refrigeration, white‑goods, electrical materials or construction is highly valued.
• Willingness to reside in Panama City and travel regionally.
