About the role

The Logistics Business Development Manager will lead the commercial management of cross‑border, local and international road transport, and warehouse solutions in Panama. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate clients, building long‑term relationships, and ensuring the delivery of services that meet sales targets, legal and operational requirements, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute commercial strategies to grow cross‑border, road transport and warehousing services.
• Prospect, acquire and develop corporate clients in foreign trade, transport, distribution, storage and logistics sectors.
• Manage and expand the client portfolio, fostering long‑term relationships and loyalty.
• Identify, evaluate and develop alliances with carriers and logistics service providers.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate rates and conditions, and close contracts.
• Oversee quotation preparation, ensuring accurate cost, margin and commercial condition calculations.
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, transport and administration teams to ensure proper service execution.
• Monitor commercial KPIs, sales pipeline, profitability and prepare regular reports for management.

Required profile

• University degree in Logistics, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial management of cross‑border transport, international road transport and warehouse solutions.
• Proven experience leading commercial teams, developing B2B client portfolios and achieving sales targets.
• Knowledge of customs processes, transport documentation and storage regulations in Panama.
