Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a leading digital currency platform operating at the crossroads of crypto and traditional finance. You will work on secure, high‑performance systems that handle large‑volume financial transactions and support regulated, compliance‑driven workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full‑stack features across both frontend applications and backend services.
• Develop and sustain backend APIs for onboarding, authentication, transaction lifecycles, and operational workflows.
• Create and enhance customer‑facing and internal web experiences using modern frontend frameworks.
• Integrate third‑party services and external providers, implementing secure OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.
• Work within a microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Write clear technical documentation and support monitoring using tools such as Grafana.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing both frontend and backend systems.
• Strong background building backend services in Golang and/or Java.
• Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript (v5) and modern React/Next.js frontends.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform).
