Engineering Internship – Maintenance Engineering Support

About the role

Join Alstom's Panama Metro project as an Engineering Intern supporting the maintenance engineering team. You will work on line 1 and line 2 operations, gaining hands‑on experience with the processes that keep the metro running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance engineering team with daily technical queries from internal units and clients.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives to streamline routine tasks.
• Learn and follow the engineering procedures for line maintenance.
• Collaborate with operational and management teams to understand real‑world maintenance activities.
• Develop proficiency in Alstom’s internal tools and software.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an engineering degree and eligible for professional practice.
• Curious, eager to learn, and able to work in a structured, organized manner.
• Strong interest in Excel and practical problem‑solving.
• Detail‑oriented and motivated to innovate.
