About the role

As a Databricks Data Engineer you will design, build, and optimize large‑scale data pipelines that power both batch and streaming analytics. Working remotely, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to turn raw data streams into actionable insights while ensuring high performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Develop and optimize data architectures on modern lakehouse and warehouse platforms.
• Ensure data integrity, reliable ingestion, and clean data modeling in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Monitor and tune processing jobs for peak performance and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Proven track record building and managing data pipelines with Apache Spark and Databricks.
• Strong understanding of large‑scale data processing, optimization, and cloud data architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
